Delay
Delay means something will happen later than the expected time. What event is delayed? What cased the delay? Could it have been prevented?

范例1：
He was marveling at the beauty of the art piece when his cell phone rang. The computer-generated voice on the other end of the line informed him that the date of the transaction had been delayed. When the club manager was told the revised date, the voice on the line sensed his hesitation. Hodge quickly explained himself, and indicated that on that date, although there would be an event at the club and that he would need to greet the corporate clients personally, he reassured the voice on the line that he could step out during the party and handle the transaction personally, and it would not be a problem.
