Writing: imagine a scenario or express your opinion
Special Day
A special day is a memorable day. What is the special day? Why is it special? How are people going to celebrate or commemorate such a day?
This week's topic: Today is their special day... (90-110 words)
Suggestions:
1) any type of anniversary (birthday, wedding, etc.)
2) graduation
3) starting something new (new job, new school, new house, etc.)
4) planning a surprise for somebody

The friend inhaled, and commented when he opened his eyes, “You smell nice. Is that a new shampoo?” “Thanks. The scent is from a cologne,” Wolfe replied while extending his wrist. The friend seemed surprised, asking if it was a special day since Wolfe did not usually wear cologne. “It's just a sample from the magazine,” Wolfe answered and pointed to the magazine on his bed. “The sample is in the centerfold. You're welcome to try it.” The curious housemate picked up the magazine and flipped through the pages, landing on the centerfold.
