Rub
To rub is to cause friction between surfaces. What things are being rubbing together? What is the purpose?

范例1：
Wolfe lightly rubbed his wrist on the scent patch and brought it up to his nose. The scent was of mint and musk... Then it hit him; he remembered where he experienced this scent before... that night... in the alleyway... the masked figure. Wolfe turned his gaze back towards the magazine page, he understood now why the model seemed familiar – it was because of those eyes. Wolfe was staring at the centerfold when he heard knocking on his door. He woke from his trance and quickly closed the magazine, tossing it aside.
