Pair
Many things come in pairs. What items come in twos? Why is it that way? What happens when there is only one? In that case, can the item still be used?

范例1：
For some reason, Al felt happy, perhaps it was because he found that his own genuine-looking smiles were indeed genuine. His guest had a care-free aura about him, and could bring people in. After dinner, the pair went back down to the lobby. Al looked towards the reception counter just as the staff behind it looked up. Their eyes met ever so briefly before Al looked away. Turning to his guest, he could see his happy smile. His guest was really appreciative of the hospitality. After retrieving the bag from the locker room and returning the locker key bracelet, the pair returned to the lobby.
