Frown
Frowning shows that one is not pleased with the situation. Who is frowning? Why is the person frowning? Can the situation be rectified?

After checking the text message, the person frowned slightly. Sean decided he should not stay beyond his welcome. He was about to leave when the other person asked, “Have you eaten?” Sean tried to think of an appropriate answer. No, other than that cup of strawberry latte, some of which was spilled, he had not eaten anything since the lunch break at the conference. He felt the other person might be offering to buy dinner since Sean did come all the way to deliver the phone. Dinner would be nice, Sean thought.
