Without taking his eyes off this mysterious page, he put down his cup and reached over to his bag to get a pencil to jot down notes on the margin. That was when disaster struck – the strawberry latte was knocked over. Sean quickly grabbed the cup to stand it upright, but it was still too late. Although he had drunk most of the latte, what remained was now spreading on the table. He jumped up. One of his hands picked up his bag, and the other took the papers off the table. The pink liquid was now nearing the edge of the table.
