Writing: imagine a scenario or express your opinion
Getting off work
For most workers, the time to get off work may be the happiest time in the day. Where did the workers work? What work were they doing? What time was it when their work ended?
This week's topic: Only a few more minutes to go until the shift ends... (90-110 words)
Suggestions:
1) the worker is just getting ready to leave the office when the boss comes by with more work
2) workers stare anxiously at the clock, waiting
3) caught in a traffic jam when getting off work
4) happy hour after work on Friday night
5) Instead of writing a scenario, feel free to comment on the story below.
范例1：
He recognized the page as a toxicology report. For a brief moment, he thought he might have picked up a page which was left there from the day before. Staff from the chemistry department might have printed it, and forgot about it when it came time to get off work, leaving the page in the printer output tray. But then again, this page was behind his thick stack of document, not before; it would have been the first thing he saw when he flipped the stack over. The fact that this page was at the very back meant that it was printed after his document.
