His interior designer arrived right on time. Hodge ordered coffee for his guest, and they got down to business. The designer presented his design portfolio. They then discussed various design concepts for the restaurant, as well as the time frame and budget. With Hodge's input, the designer did a few quick sketches on his tablet. The manager knew the award-winning interior designer had only been in the field for a short time, but from the way he presented himself, Hodge imaged him to have been in the business for much longer; the club manager was quite impressed.
