Recently one of my college classmates has succeeded in applying for Working Holiday to New Zealand after her one year’s preparation. Here I want to give my congratulations to her. At the first sight of this good news, what occurs to my mind is that it absolutely is a golden opportunity to travel and have a brand new experience. Travelling is a wonderful way of relaxing yourself. However, sometimes it may be not if you choose to be a backpacker. Last weekend, my first backpacking to a great extent disappointed me. There are many reasons accounting for it, for example, lack of sleep, hot weather and a bad plan. Though not having much fun from the place I went, at least I enjoyed being together with my friend. More importantly, this experience tells me being a backpacker definitely is not an easy thing and you need to be well prepared before you set off.
