Before I came to Sanya to study in September 2010, I never paid any attention to Hainan Province and all I know about Sanya is that it has beautiful beaches, coconut trees, amazing view of seas and many kinds of special tropical fruits. In my mind, Sanya can be seen as a paradise. Upon my arrival in Sanya, the unbearable heat really shocked me. Here is an advertising description of Sanya: All year around Sanya has pleasant climate of spring. It is totally improper to say so. Actually, I rarely go outdoors to have fun in day time and often go out to have good time at night just because of the unbearable heat in day time.
Sanya is a developing city which offers both opportunities and challenges. Price of goods in Sanya is higher than any other city in Hainan Province, which bothers me a little. What is more, Sanya is absolutely a good place for winter holiday.
If you ask me whether I like Sanya or not, my answer depends on the weather in Sanya. That is to say, I like Sanya from November to March but I hate Sanya from April to October.
