        范例1:
Though I like the language of English from the very beginning, my first try in reading English novels when I was a student in junior middle school failed. In other words, Chinese edition cannot demonstrate the beauty of the English language even make me have no interest in keeping on reading it. After that, my other several tries all failed. Personally, there are two main reasons accounting for this. First, at that time I did not have the ability to read the English version so that I could not enjoy the beauty of the language of English. Second, at that time I had so little understanding of English novels’ historical, cultural and social background that I was unable to enjoy the novels themselves, such as their characters and plots. I did not finish my first English novel which is Pride and Prejudice reading until my college school days came. I enjoyed reading Pride and Prejudice in English version from beginning to end and I was totally immersed in the unparalleled beauty of the language and Jane Austin's excellent command of humor. This novel presents not only a vivid picture of England's countryside in the late 19th century but also an interesting world where readers can have fun and relax themselves. Here I strongly recommend Pride and Prejudice in English version for you.
        范例2:
At the age of 12, I read the Chinese edition of The Little Prince, which was an award from my English teacher. Still a child then, however, I found it plain and, to some extent, a little boring. In other words, an ordinary book not worth honors like "the adults' bible" at all.
It was in a relaxed afternoon of my freshman year that in the library I once again came across The Little Prince. While reading it, I gradually realized that pathetically, I was not a child with no worries and stress any more. Those simple words consistently reminded me of the artificial boredom at some corners of the adults' world--the desire for power and money, the ignorance of beauty around ourselves and the indifference of the precious connections between people... Though it may be hard to change our adults' world, The Little prince at least enables us, who are running or being pushed to run so fast forward, to take a backward glimpse at our childhood, and that is why I recommend it to you, my dear friends.
