The label of "a girl" or "a woman" has nothing to do with the actual age of a person. It's referring to maturity, life vision and stage of life. In fact, some people regardless of their age, will never grow up. Also, this isn't to say that a woman won't ever have "girlish" or immature tendencies or vice versa.
The back-to-back fesitvals give us a good chance to see the difference between a girl and a woman. One of the differences is that a girl wants attention, a woman wants respect. Based on that a girl has a checklist that prioritizes superficial qualities such as: hot, popular, wearing skinny jeans, over 3 inches high-heel, a smart boyfriend. While, the checklist for what a woman may look for: high integrity, intelligent, kind, good communicator, emotionally rich. But, it doesn't mean that a woman has a superhand over a girl. It's two stages of one's life , but far more than one day's time.
