背景介绍：
广东东莞大朗水霖学校初中部学生日前报料称，临近期末，学校要求班主任填表上报“班上最应该被开除学生”名单，如果期末期间再“犯事”，就会被开除。对此，大朗水霖学校回应称，学校要求班主任上报的只是差生名单，以便于学校安排老师“一对一”辅导。
近年来，中小学接连爆出“冷暴力”事件，有些学校把学生分为“优生”、“差生”区别对待，尤其是对“差生”，学校和老师极尽羞辱之能事，想着法子让这些学生认识到自己是“差生”，不改变就将被“淘汰”。学校称这是“激将法”，但却违背基本的教育价值，把教育变得简单、粗暴。
在我国义务教育阶段，也有很长一段时间，存在将“差生”、违规学生开除、劝退了之的做法。2006年新修订的《义务教育法》强调，接受义务教育是每个公民平等的权利之后，这种情况才有所好转，各地的义务教育学生学籍管理规定，取消了开除处分，学校不得再开除学生，但还是有一些学校，不愿意放弃开除这一手段，以此“威慑”、恐吓学生。之所以有不少学校把差生视为包袱，是因为办学者追求功利的办学政绩——学生总体分数、合格率、升学率等，而忽视了每个个体自身的成长，而且，相对于用耐心、细致的方法引导学生来说，把“差生”赶出校园，是最省事的。

Recently, I am totally addicted to one TV program called "The Super Brain of China", which is broadcast on Jiangsu Satellite Television. In the latest program last week, I got to know the China's Rain man and I believe his name "Zhou Wei" has been widely known by people around our country. His moving story reminds me of a famous quotation: All is not gold that glitters, but the gold will glitter forever. As he was diagnosed with language disorders just 6 months after birth, Zhou Wei could not enjoy the pleasure of learning in school. Despite all that, now on the stage he proved himself the super brain to all audience by completing these missions impossible for us. Maybe today I deviate from the writing theme, but I still want to highlight one fact that the teaching method of school plays a critical in one's growth academically and spiritually. There should be no difference in the attitude schools take towards those good students and poor ones. All students should be equally educated and treated. Not everyone was born to be a genius, but everyone of us has the desire to reach the peak. Therefore, dear teachers, don't blame those poor students if you don't see the efforts they've done to step forward. What they need most is your recognition of their progress, instead of the special one-to-one education. Just please be more patient with them, pay greater attention to their study and help them through the difficulties they meet in the learning process.

In a country where people believe that the winners take it all while losers’ standing small, competition is fierce everywhere. In a school where the kids should be educated to be knowledgeable person with good manner and strong character, their scores are the only line between a good one and a bad one. Facing the mounting pressure to have a good performance in the exams, some schools find a solution – excluding the lower-score students by labeling them as bad students. Thus the unfortunate kids are officially in the pariah class, they cannot participate in the exams, and often are the victims of the bullying behavior. To get worse, they can be expelled from school for some minor errors.
This phenomenon is not rare in our educating system which should be educating the masses. Melancholically, a distorted society only provides distorted services. The solution, we should search for it at its source which is beyond the education.
