背景介绍：
In recent years, with more uses of computer and more convenient access to the Internet, a large number of cyber words have kept on springing out and spreading in cyber space, gaining increasing popularity. Even the Xinhua Dictionary has begun to include some new popular cyber words for its latest edition, once arousing heated discussion in the public, especially the netizens. However, some experts are not in favor of the cyber language, in fear that it can do harm to the traditional Chinese language, let alone the Chinese culture. On the other hand, some average people tend to accept the popularity of the cyber language, which is regarded by them as helpful to enrich and enlarge the vocabulary of traditional language. And both sides seem to have their own reasons.

1) Are you in favor of or against the cyber language? Write out your answer and reasons;
2) Choose one or two cyber words that you like or dislike, and give your reasons.

As a matter of fact, I will feel uncomfortable if some one describes the others by using Diors or the rich second generation. It is well known that each coin has two sides. There are some youngsters among those of the rich second generation, who prefer to depend on their rich parents rather than earn the bread and butter by themselves. These young persons are rich in material but poor in spirit, though. In reality, diors (diaosi in Chinese) is a humorous way or even self-mockery to describe who are young, yet not good-looking and not rich, etc. But most of them are confident, industrious and hardworking, and rely on themselves. Only these youngsters are blessed and helped by God for they help themselves.

The overwhelming boom of cyber words is widely spreading among the public. Facing this, I consider that the cyber words should be used properly. First of all, many parents complain that sometimes they can’t understand what their sons or daughters say. As a result, the generation gap between our parents and us is broader and broader. Besides, the wind of cyber words also effects the middle school students even the pupils. It is found that there are cyber words in some students’ compositions. For those students who are still in a learning stage, they should grow up under our proper directions.
In a word, when you calling others “diaosi” as a joke, please pay more attention to those confused parents and innocent students. The rapidly developing world needs communication by heart.
