If you ask me, "Qingming" ought to be one word reminded us of the clearness of spirit and mind. After all, the reason why this festival is set up is based on the need that we date back to the old days -- those passers-by in our life, and those bitter-sweeted memories. As yesterday is history, once we go over it we turn a new look at current life and acquire wisdom for the future. It is Qingming Festival when we clear the ashes of heart and brighten our mind. The most important meaning of Qingming Festival, in my opinion, is that young people should learn and show their filial piety to the elders.
