误区一：以"he/his"概全。
错的看似简单，但一不小心可能成为冒犯女性的有力证据，光有"he"，没有"she"，凭什么？！
1、指代一个人的时候
错误案例1：If a student studies hard, he will succeed.
正确用法：需"he","she"兼备，有时需考虑其顺序。
a、If a student studies hard, he or she will succeed.
b、If a student studies hard, she or he will succeed.
错误案例2：The average student is worried about his grades.
正确用法：避免出现"he"，能省代词则省之。
The average student is worried about grades.
错误案例3：Give the student his grade right away.
正确用法：以复数形式替代单数形式。
Give the students their grades right away.
错误案例4：As a teacher, he faces excessive paperwork daily.
正确用法：用第一第二人称口吻替代第三人称
As teachers, we face excessive paperwork daily.
错误案例5：He might wonder what his response should be.
正确用法：用one/one's替代，但需谨慎，可能会改变文章调性。
One might wonder what one's response should be.
错误案例6：Each student should hand in his paper promptly.
正确用法：用被动语态替换，这招虽饱受争议，但小用一下，也是可以哒！
Papers should be handed in promptly.
错误案例7：Listen to the two-year-old as he uses his short, simple sentences to communicate.
正确用法：用分词短语替代

误区二：使用与"man"相关的词汇
这也是可能使女性认为遭到歧视的关键一点，只有"man“，没有"woman”,不公平！
错误词汇1：成就、业绩、价值相关，这些词汇强调"man"，可能使女性觉得自身价值缺失。
mankind;man’s achievements;the best man for the job;
man the ticket booth。
还有man-made;freshman;alumni。
正确词汇1：尽量使用概括性的成就&价值词汇
humanity, human beings, people;human achievements;the best person for the job;
staff the ticket booth.
还有artificial materials/ synthetic materials; First-year student;alumnae(the feminine plural)
错误词汇2：职业相关词汇，同样强调"man"和"woman"，赶脚隐隐的不平等性。
chairman/chairwomen;
businessman/businesswoman;
congressman/congress woman;
policeman/policewoman;
salesman/saleswoman;
fireman;
mailman
正确词汇2：尽量使用概括性的职业词汇
chair, coordinator, moderator, presiding officer, head, chairperson;
business executive, manager, businessperson;
congressional representative;
police officer;
salesperson, sales clerk, sales representative;
firefighter;
postal worker, letter carrier
误区三 使用强调女性头衔&标签的词汇
如果过于强调女性身份&头衔，并冠之以标签，女性可能产生不满，说好的平等，一视同仁呢！
错误词汇:"ess","female","woman","lady"等前缀过于强调女性，不能体现平等感
stewardess,authoress,poetess,female nurse,lady lawyer,woman doctor
正确词汇：去掉强调女性意味的前缀
