Getting herself a pre-travel treat, Rooney Mara started off her day by grabbing a fruit smoothie and a pastry in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 15).
Clad in a black and white striped knit sweater while rocking her unique hairdo, the 26-year-old then joined up with her boyfriend, Charlie McDowell, as the couple took to LAX Airport to catch a departing flight.
On the career front, Rooney was recently asked by MTV News if she knew of any plans about the possible adaptation of the next two "Millennium Trilogy" novels.
Still in the dark on the possible "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" follow-ups, she replied, "I don't know anything. I wish that I had the answers. You know, I hope that we get to make the other two, but I just don't know anything yet."

In the meantime, Miss Mara's focus is on her upcoming Steven Soderbergh directed project titled "The Bitter Pill".
Co-starring Channing Tatum, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the crime/thriller is about "a woman who turns to prescription medication as a way of handling her anxiety concerning her husband's upcoming release from prison."
