第二部分 TEXT
    After I had had lunch at a village pub, I looked for my bag. I had left it on a chair beside the door and now it wasn't there! As I was looking for it, the landlord came in.
   'Did you have a good meal?" he asked.
   'Yes, thank you,' I answered, 'but I can't pay the bill. I haven't got my bag.'
   The landlord smiled and immediately went out. In a few minutes he returned with my bag and gave it back to me.
   'I'm very sorry,' he said. 'My dog had taken it into the garden. He often does this!'

    我在一家乡村小酒店吃过午饭后, 就找我的提包. 我曾把它放在门边的椅子上, 可这会儿不见了!当我正在寻找时, 酒店老板走了进来.
   “您吃得好吗?” 他问.
   “很好, 谢谢. “我回答, “但我付不了帐, 我的提包没有了. “
    酒店老板笑了笑, 马上走了出去. 一会儿工夫他拿着我的提包回来了, 把它还给了我.
   “实在抱歉, “他说, “我的狗把它弄到花园里去了, 他常干这种事!”
第三部分 LANGUAGE POINTS
1、After I had had lunch at a village pub, I looked for my bag.
have lunch:吃午饭
have breakfast:吃早饭
have supper/dinner: 吃晚饭
look for：寻找...，强调'寻找'行为本身，并不一定找到了东西；找到了东西用'find'
2、I had left it on a chair beside the door and now it wasn't there!
had left:过去完成时
leave:把...留在...
it wasn't there:不见了，不在那儿了，还可以这么表达：
1）It was gone.
2）It was missing.
3、As I was looking for it, the landlord came in.
as:此句中作连词，当...的时候，也能表达为：while I was looking for it
the landlord:the owner of the pub
4、In a few minutes he returned with my bag and gave it back to me.
此句中的with:prep. 拿着，带着
5、'My dog had taken it into the garden. He often does this!'
He:指代dog（英语中常用he指代dog，用she指代cat）

have的用法
1.有（=have got ，常用于口语中）
Ex:
Have you got a dictionary?=>Do you have a dictionary?
I've got something to tell you.=>I have something to tell you.
He hasn't got a lot of money.=>He doesn't have a lot of money.
[U]have 可以用 have got取代的三种情况
[/U]①　I have a pen. I have got a pen. “有”
②　I have a headache.  I have got a headache. “得病”
③　have to== have got to
以上三种情况have =have got
2.have的其他常见用法
Did you have a good meal? (吃)
I had a very good time during my holiday.（度过）
She is going to have a baby.（要个孩子）
I had a nice bath.（=take a bath）
They are having a meeting.(开会)
I have a cold.（得/患了感冒）
