伊丽莎白与小情人多诺万掌控着旅馆的一切，他们利用旅馆进行着自己血腥又可怕的兴趣。一名商人带着儿子入住了科泰兹旅馆。爱丽丝带两父子参观旅馆时，有意无意地绕到了伊丽莎白的房间，伊丽莎白热情招待了两父子，并在父亲察看旅馆时，单独带了他的小儿子，到一个奇怪的房间。房间里有几位小孩子，有肯吃旅客的两名小孩，还有约翰的儿子霍尔登。
场景又跳到多诺万和莎莉的死因，当初因为莎莉给了多诺万过多的毒品导致他猝死，而多诺万的妈妈迁怒于莎莉将她推下楼，这位绝望的母亲回到儿子身边时发现伊丽莎白出现了……
画面又再次跳转到了警官的家，在洛杉矶一连串的案件，加上约翰对儿子的失踪的悲痛，还有自己所受到的威胁，这一切都有线索直指科泰兹旅馆。约翰凭着奇怪的直觉，入住了科泰兹旅馆充满疑团的64号房间。这时候伴随着老鹰乐队的《加州旅馆》本集进入尾声。
