        Rita Calypso
        Rita calypso本名 Ana Laan，出生在西班牙马德里，在瑞典居住很长的一段时间，再回到马德里念大学。Rita Calypso在西班牙唱片公司 Siesta 发行过两张英语专辑。2004 年转换唱片公司为 Nardis，并用本名 Ana Laan 发行西班牙语专辑 Oregano。
        这首歌的原唱是史琪特·戴维丝( 1931年12月30日——2004年9月19日)，原名玛丽·弗朗西丝·佩尼克(Mary Frances Penick)，是美国著名的女乡村音乐歌手，她在1963年演唱的的《the end of the world》被评为当年最受欢迎的歌曲，被无数人翻唱过，这首歌也是她唯一的传世之作。2009年的电影《美国情事》(An Amercian affair) 选择《the end of the world》作为片尾曲，直抵人心的伤感 。
