        Sara Bareilles出生在尤里卡加利福尼亚西北部的城市洪堡，是一名创作歌手和钢琴家。她经常被拿来与Fiona Apple, NorahJones, Joni Mitchell这些与她同类型的知名歌手比较，即便她并没有受过任何正式的声乐和钢琴训练。
        这张在2007年7月17号发行的专辑，是创作歌手Sara Bareilles的首张由唱片公司推出的专辑。其中的六首歌是从她上张独立专辑母带——Careful Confessions中挑选出来重新录音的。
