今天的Circus作为同名主打歌收录在2010年发布的第六张专辑《Circus》当中，这张专辑在上市首周就成为本周美国唱片市场的销量冠军，并在当周Billboard 200专辑榜中轻松夺冠。据统计，《Circus》的首周销量达到50万5千张，成为Britney Spears的第四张冠军专辑。与此同时，这一成绩还使得Britney成为了Nielsen SoundScan统计历史上第一位四张个人专辑上市首周销量都超过50万张的歌手。
