对于A or B型作文，首段须要选择立场和表明观点，在考试当中使用一些高分句型显得尤为重要。在大学听说读写拔高二级写作教材中的高分句型” I am of the opinion that”等结构,中间段落需要从正反两方面进行论证,在正反之间,若能使用上一个过渡转折的高分句型，比如大学听说读写拔高二级写作中教材中的高分句型“The other side of the issue is quite the opposite.”该句子相比使用频率较高的“However”转折词而言，要显得更为顺畅。A or B型的结尾段出现的利弊分型，大多数同学会使用“The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.”这个结构在四六级范文中的使用比率更好，所以推荐给大家在大学听说读写拔高四级中出现表示利弊分析句型“The advantages prevail over the disadvantages.”
对Cause and effect型，首段须要引出现象，大多数同学的开篇作文总是会以“Nowadays/recently/currently”开篇，却会让阅卷老师有种千篇一律的感觉。其实，平时大家若注重写作句型积累，有很多结构都可以借鉴，如大学听说读写拔高二级写作中出现的：“The phenomenon of … has loomed up wide public concern.”中间段落可以采用因果分析法，引出原因的句型（… encourage/give rise to /bring about…）和引出结果或影响的句型（The consequence/influence of… can be listed as follows）必不可少。结尾段可以提出建议句型（It is suggested that…或It is imperative that…）等。
若遇到How型文章，首段还得说明做某件事情的重要性（The significance of… cannot be emphasized too much），第二段需要说明如何做某件事情，结尾段落再次总结做事情的方式，这时可以使用一些表示强调首段来到升华主题的效果。在大学四六级考试中，可以采用除强调句型以外的强调首段会更加出彩，如：倒装结构，双否结构。
总之，大学四六级作文对考生的语言表达比较侧重，所以平时尽可能写出一些使用频率不是很高的高分句型，对提高考试成绩必然会有很大帮助。
