        沙皇乐队(The Czars)是来自丹佛的美国另类摇滚乐团。 类似Tindersticks、Migala乐派的低调抑郁风格。The Czars，五个人组成。主唱John William Grant早年曾在德国求学达六年之久, 之后便回到丹佛市开始组团。The Czars中的Grant低沉浑厚的男中音是乐队最吸引人的亮点，而乐队是采用双吉他配器，以及小提琴、各种鼓器的交相辉映。 2004年专辑《The Ugly People VS. The Beautiful People》（丑陋与美丽的对峙）专辑在英国大受欢迎，成为瞩目新星。有人用“低调，温文，清新，浪漫，成熟”来形容The Czars的音乐。
