    Neil Halstead的这张唱片中集结的都是一些他的个人创作，大约在Slowdive到Mojave 3过渡时期的一些作品。这些歌曲过于个人化，没有别的东西可以附着其上，自然也就无法贴上乐队的标签，索性就顺其自然地成了Neil的个人唱片Sleeping On Roads。唱片的名字蕴涵着一种难以名状的力量。和Rachel Goswell的音乐一样，让人向往无拘无束的自由感觉。
    但是，聆听Neil Halstead的唱片你要小心，貌似平静的歌声，却有可能在瞬间灼烧你的神经。每一段音符，在欢愉的气氛中渐渐地把你带入一个潜表层的梦境，断断续续，不真实，但确实存在。每一首歌曲仿佛就是一次青春期的延长，其实越是延长也就越接近终点。
