背景介绍：
Maria Taylor和Orenda Fink出生於美国乔治亚州Athens。两人十六岁时结识於阿拉巴马州立艺术学校，Maria主修芭蕾，Orenda主修戏剧，都对音乐保持强烈兴趣。毕业後搬到内布达加斯州Omaha 参加了power pop乐队Little Red Rocket，之後组成低调民谣风格的Azure Ray。所加入的独立厂牌Saddle Creek，就像个大家庭，乐手都在两个以上的 乐队演出，彼此熟识，相互支援，例如Azure Ray常与Bright Eyes巡回演出，让Omaha成为近年来美国中西部独立摇滚的重要基地。
