        索尼公司2011年2月宣布根据施瓦辛格90年代经典科幻片《全面回忆》（Total Recall）翻拍的同名影片将于2012年8月3日上映。该片将由科林·法瑞尔（Colin Farrell）主演、莱恩·怀斯曼（Len Wiseman）导演。
        施瓦辛格1990年主演的科幻片《全面回忆》（Total Recall），也叫《宇宙威龙》和《魔鬼总动员》，根据菲利普·K·迪克（Phillip K. Dick）的科幻小说《We Can Remember It for You Wholesale》改编，讲述了施瓦辛格扮演的地球人被自己的噩梦困扰，他想去火星旅游但遭到妻子反对，于是只好向记忆公司购买火星记忆来达到目的。但他在洗脑时发现自己已经有火星的记忆，为了弄清真相他决定前往火星，但遭到追杀。后来他发现自己是一名被人植入了假记忆的火星反抗军派往地球的间谍，在一场恶战后，他完成了自己解放火星人的使命，使火星变成一个适宜人居的星球。
        当年的老版由保罗·范霍文（Paul Verhoeven）执导，全球票房高达2亿多美元。这次索尼翻拍的新版将会与时俱进的做一些重新设计。

        Total Recall is an upcoming American science-fiction action film remake of the 1990 film of the same name, which is based on the 1966 short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick. Unlike the original 1990 film, the plot of this new version lacks a trip to Mars and contains strong political overtones. In addition, the film also blends Western and Eastern influences together, due to the fact that the two nation states, New Shanghai and Euroamerica are battling for political power.
        It is directed by Len Wiseman and written by Mark Bomback, James Vanderbilt and Kurt Wimmer. It was first announced in 2009. It is scheduled to be released in the United States and Canada on August 3, 2012. Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel star.
