亨利•卡维尔接班新一任《超人》2012年12月上映

        Boom! Meet your new Superman: After screen-testing, Henry Cavill landed the lead role in the Chris Nolan–produced, Zack Snyder–directed Superman, and Cavill has officially signed on. The British Cavill previously acted in The Tudors and Hellraiser: Hellworld. He'll also appear in the upcoming Immortals. According to Aint it Cool, "Everyone involved in production is thrilled with Cavill's take. Zack is over the moon for him." They'll begin shooting in a few months. Jon Hamm and Joe Manganiello were other names reportedly in the running for the role. Cavill's got the Superman stature, and now the world waits.

        27岁英国男演员亨利·卡维尔 (Henry Cavill) 成为了新一任的超人！
        熟悉美剧的人对亨利·卡维尔并不陌生，因为他在古装剧《都铎王朝》(The Tudors)中扮演了查尔斯·布兰顿(Charles Brandon)，而更早的时候他还演过新版《基督山伯爵》(The Count of Monte Cristo，2002)里基督山伯爵的儿子。
        就在他扮演了《基督山伯爵》之后不久，McG曾考虑过让他出演当时华纳兄弟正在筹备的新版超人电影，不过McG后来在2004年退出了该计划，布莱恩·辛格(Bryan Singer)接过了导筒，而他则有自己的超人人选—布兰登·劳斯(Brandon Routh)。于是亨利·卡维尔的超人梦就此破灭。
        然而命运就是这样的神奇，2006版《超人》电影的票房(全球3.91亿美元)并没有让华纳满意，他们于是另找克里斯托弗·诺兰(Christopher Nolan)构思并负责制作一版全新的超人电影，而导演之位则交给了以华丽视觉而著称的《三百斯巴达勇士》导演扎克·斯奈德(Zack Snyder)，他们都不想继续使用布兰登·劳斯来扮演超人，新超人的披风就这样披到了亨利·卡维尔的身上。
        超人是又一个交给英国人扮演的美式超级英雄，之前的新版“蜘蛛侠”扮演者安德鲁·加菲德(Andrew Garfield)也是英国演员。
        新版《超人》将于2012年12月上映。
