Jeffrey Tambor and Jill Soloway both spoke out about transgender issues during their Emmys acceptance speeches on Sunday.周日，杰弗里·塔伯和吉尔·索罗威在接受艾美奖颁奖的演讲中都大胆表达了关于变性人的问题。
Tambor nabbed the prize for lead actor in a comedy for his role as transgender woman Maura Pfefferman in Amazon's Transparent, while the show's creator, Soloway, won the Emmy for comedy series directing.塔伯以他在亚马逊的剧集《透明人生》中凭借变性女子莫拉·普菲弗曼一角获得了喜剧类最佳男主，同时该部影片的制片人索罗威获得了艾美奖喜剧系列的导演奖。
Soloway pointed out that someone close to her named Carrie "could tomorrow go and try to find an apartment, and in 32 states, it would be legal for the landlord to look her in the eye and say, 'We don't rent to trans people.' " 索罗威指出：名字接近（她命名为）卡丽的人“明天启程去租房，寻遍32个州，房东都可以合法的直视她的眼睛并宣称：‘我们不租给变性人。’”
