　　判卷的这回好办了。在考场上写:“即使面对困境也要保持乐观，an optimistic spirit is essential”，语法单词没有错误的话，至少混个及格吧，除非您写一个酗酒有害，就……
        　　不过说正经的，这回的主题词还是给的很简单的，不像2007年那次。
        　　然后就是写作了，看来判卷的已经有点烦了，不打算用绕来绕去的图画忽悠了，就一个主题乐观主题，你写吧。描述段其实并不难，按照上课的时候说的，一看数字名词、二看动作神态、三看主题。可以看到图画中的两个人肩并肩的站在一起，一个很悲伤、另一个很兴奋。主题是将酒和乐观精神连接，虽然出得比较“农业特色”，但是总体来讲凑合写吧。
        　　剩下的就是用上课教给你们的那唯一的一个句子结构串接了。首先，用那个练习了N遍的第一句，把两个年轻人这个说法填上，As can be observed above, the cartoonist, in his creative and thought-provoking style, describes two youngsters, 然后用定语从句写who are standing shoulder to shoulder. 接着名词代词切换，写One of these young man, with his left hand upon his forehead, looks rather depressed, 在此处用whereas串接写一个人的行为，the other, with an exciting look on his face, is staring at the bottle on the ground. 这个时候别废话，直接点主题即可, Obviously, by providing the picture above, the cartoonist is conveying his attitude towards the optimistic spirit owned by many young people in our society.
        　　描述的确不太难，都有的可写（只要你不放弃描述句，主动采用这种自杀式的写法）：毕竟在图中画了两个人，不像2011年在图画里面画一些西瓜皮这类的杂物，很虚幻的放在图画的最前端难为考生，却把能写的“两个人坐在船上扔垃圾”放在后面，更不像2010年弄个破火锅放那里，然后很穿越地把“莎翁、康德”等同志也放在火锅里，然后用“文化交流”当主题。2012年这次考试，即使考生只有高中的英文水平，用高中词汇也能攥一篇：
        　　阐述段有点难，一下似乎抓不住文章的主旨，感觉像今年的四级写作，四级是把戒烟和意志力扯一块，考研是把酒和乐观扯一起（其实这两次的作文题都一样上不得台面，出得既不高雅、也不引人深思，不是烟、就是酒、十分粗俗。）但是如果考生不审题，那么今年的“死法”和去年的“死法”的确不一样，去年是这么死菜的：!@#%$&**，今年是这么死菜的？
        　　2011年和2010年是图画复杂，阐述简单。2012年是描述简单、阐述不知所云，但是如果考生们仔细准备过主题词那就不同了，题目将立刻简化成如下这么个模式：
        　　Clearly, in a situation full of pessimistic feelings, an optimistic spirit is not only necessary, but also indispensable. And many young people, just as the one described in the picture above, has realized its importance. 点评1：这里先定住主题和态度. 然后谈他们的表现With this attitude, they cultivate their confidence and abilities in their everyday life, no matter how disappointing the situation seems to be.点评2：接着谈这个行为的结果: As a result of this behavior, it is possible for them to improve their skills and fit into a competitive society, instead of indulging themselves in a world full of illusions and despair. 点评3：然后做条件假设，指出这样没有可能成功：If this situation continues, they are likely to walk out of their difficulty, thus obtain many opportunities or further their career.
        　　上面这段儿，没用什么生词，基本就是成功励志的句型，基本切题，得到个满意的分数应该不成问题。（注意不是满分，自从2002年以来，看了孩儿们成千上万篇“习作”之后，我逐渐意识到，也许根本没有满分存在，因为孩儿们都是Chin…………glish）
        　　当然如果您愿意玩“猛词”，也可以写成：
        　　Undeniably, while people are in predicament, they invariably feel downcasted, and fancy that the world is doomed. However, in this threshold, these people should appeal to an optimistic spirit to rescue themselves out of their grave danger.点评1：用词大点，但是也得先定住主题和态度. 然后谈他们的表现Cherishing this perspective, they are supposed to boost their self-confidence, rather than indulge and then abandon themselves. 点评2：接着还是谈这个行为的结果: Accordingly, it is possible for them to enhance their abilities, thus adapting themselves to a highly competitive society. 点评3：然后还是做条件假设，指出这样可能成功：If this situation remains, these youngsters are likely to overcoming conditions and miseries, thus not only grasp many opportunities, but also carve the career of their own. To summarize, when pesssimism hits and a man is prone to collaspe, what he has to do is to rethink his strategy and approach any challenges, instead of weeping bitterly into his sleeves.
        　　将两个文章进行对比，就会发现，只要主题明确，第二篇文章充其量也就是单词“大”了些，但是第一篇也有优点，其主题明确，词小点其实没什么，关键是要看得准、写的合理。
        　　如下：

        　　第三段就无所谓了，别出错就行，无非是年轻人要学会培养能力、有了逆境要顶住压力、设定目标达到目标，少写一些“要增强意识、采取实际行动的话”还不如这么写：Many options are available to boost confidence and resist pessimism. For example, young people are supposed to cultivate their spirit of exploration. But the most important of all, they have to keep grace under pressure, especially while facing many difficulties. By doing so, they can set a goal and achieve it. After all, it is their dedication and participation that really matters. 比动不动就“增强意识、采取行动、只有这样才有美好未来”强一些。
        　　题目是不难，估计今年的争议是在主题的判读上：如果仔细观察，又可以发现前面的那个人，满眼流露出贪婪和对酒精的渴望，整个儿一比后面的那个更没有出息。看那双眼睛，呈现出@#$%&*状，考研要考？但是定神一看，发现似乎是自己的“幻觉”，那就是考研还没有可能对酗酒这个问题发表看法吧？如果那样的话the addiction to alcohol也未必不是选择，就看怎么写了。如果友人是浸礼会成员（the Baptist Church)，或者是教友会成员（the Quakers），比较传统，而且烟酒不沾，或者是佛教徒或者伊斯兰教徒，这些人就都会说图画中的这两个人都沉溺欲望，无法自拔，是无可救药。他们都应该得多少分呢？仅仅因为他们的信仰、生活习惯等关系，没有想到喝酒也能和乐观套在一起？

        　　大致意思：不可否认，两个酒鬼都应该受到谴责，尤其是那个盯着瓶子看的酒鬼。他已经沉溺于酒精之中，无法自拔，成了欲望的奴隶。这样他也能满足自己的欲望，但是当他饮用自己威士忌的时候，他怎么可能肩扛起责任? 例如说，你能想象他在半夜喝的烂醉之后，还能养家糊口、教导他的儿子和女儿控制自己的欲望吗？你能想象他还能控制自己的其他欲望，努力工作、履行自己的义务吗？所以这个酒鬼似乎更不可救药，不仅仅因为他那永远无法满足的欲望，而是因为沉溺酒精无法自拔。
        　　试问，这么写，该给多少分？是判断该同学走题？还是该同学观点新颖？还是该同学观点保守、不懂喝酒？
        　　恍然间，笔者竟然想到了某年高考的一篇作文，好像是一个圆规站在地上、一块橡皮埋头猛跑。也是这么无厘头。
        　　考研作文呀！为什么每次你的图画都画那么丑，先是2008年，弄俩残疾青年跑步、毫无人文主义关怀（你们考虑过如果有残疾考生来考研，他们怎么想吗？他们什么感受吗？），接着是2010年，将鲁迅、莎翁、康德放在火锅里面涮，此等大师岂能是你说涮就涮的？一想起这幅图，我等英美文学专业之辈就恨得牙根发痒，那可是我们心中的“星”啊！然后就是这次，好好的乐观精神，你出什么图不好，出两个酒鬼！真是农业时代的文明、就有农业文明的出法。2008年是伤害残疾青年、2010年让莎翁下火锅，伤的是圣贤、2012年伤的是那些不喝酒同志们的判断力。
        　　考研作文呀，明明就是那么几个简单的主题词，你吃饱了撑的，跟孩儿们绕来绕去的干什么？如果孩儿们真的写了酗酒不好，你怎么评分呢？干嘛不直接You must support your view with your experiences, your observation or what you read.这样考多实在！还能逼着孩儿们背例证，既能反模板、还能提高英语水平。
        　　考研作文呀，你弄个图天天让大家猜，这样就能培养出逻辑思辨能力(critical thinking)、组织能力(cohesion and coordinaiton)和表达能力(expressions)吗？
        　　考研写作呀，你到底想考孩儿们什么呢、又在鼓励着孩儿们学什么呢？
        　　附录：听说有人还看到这么个图，是不是B卷呢？还是模拟题附体真题？嗨，管他呢，就当真题讲一次吧，现眼就现眼了。
        　　这个图画比前面那个难点，判卷的有点不好办了。主题词汇现在好几个，可以是global view,全球视角，也可以是a down-to-earth working style is important, 还可以判定为前途很迷惘，但是a spirit of exploration is important，如果一个考生被“逼急了”，在考场上写:“即使面对困境也要保持乐观，an optimistic spirit is essential”，判卷的同志们又得去开会了吧，不然的话，怎样去判定哪个考生是观点新颖、哪个考生是走题呢？
        　　不过说正经的，主题词还是确定在global view最为合适（其同义词还有global vision, global outlook），为什么呢？因为图画中的两个人都画得很丑，一个赤裸着上身，在一面似乎无法凿透的墙壁上面挥汗如雨，另一个留着一背头，用一个长筒双倍的望远镜望着隧道的远端，可惜的是两个人都没意识到，在极其封闭的环境中，只去展望和苦干是没有效果的，只有开阔视野，跳出封闭的环境才能获得发展（最后复习主题词的话，应该在励志那个题材上吧）
        　　然后就是写作了，描述段其实并不难，按照上课的时候说的，一看数字名词、二看动作神态、三看主题。可以看到图画中的两个人肩并肩的站在一起，一个用锤子凿一面厚厚的墙壁、另一个用望远镜看着远方，但是两个人都没有意识到隧道很长很黑，根本没有未来。

        　　第三段就无所谓了，无非是年轻人要学会培养能力、有了逆境要顶住压力、设定目标达到目标，少写一些“要增强意识、采取实际行动的话”：图画中的这两位仁兄又望远镜、又凿墙的，前面那位连衣服都脱了，行动不可谓不努力，这个时候你再写youngsters must enhance their awareness and take drastic measures就和图画不相符了，还不如这么写：Many options are available to improve their global thinking abilities. For example, young people are supposed to cultivate their spirit of exploration. But the most important of all, they have to keep grace under pressure, especially while facing many difficulties. In this way, they can set a goal and achieve it. After all, it is their dedication and participation that really matters. 比动不动就“增强意识、采取行动、只有这样才有美好未来”强一些。
        　　题目是不难，估计今年的争议是在主题的判读上：如果仔细观察，又可以发现后面那个光膀子哥们儿的嘴角上挑，带着一种狠劲儿、分明是坚毅的造型，他的脚下还有一些东西看不清楚，笔者起先判定是一具尸体的双脚，头皮发炸，双眼呈@#$%&*状，考研要考？但是定神一看，发现似乎是自己的“幻觉”，那更可能是一些凿下来的碎石块。这个图画又能瞬间解读为前面的哥们儿只看不练，后面的哥们儿更勤奋、脚踏实地、更富于探索精神，如果是这样的话，那the spirit of diligence, the spirit of a down-to-earth working style, an optimistic spirit in a difficult situation都能切题，因为你可以从这个凿墙者的赤身裸体判定图画为贬义、对两人做法持批判态度、但是也能从后面那人的坚定表情、前者那个不入流的大背头，判定为一个批评、一个赞扬。
        　　而如果将上述的几个词汇都和上述的延伸句挂接，而且没有语法错误的话，那你应该给这个英语不错，只是没有写出global view, global vision, global outlook的孩儿多少分呢？

        　　大同小异吧，总之如果用心看看讲义上那些句子，应该也就是那么些了吧。反正没背那么多，也挺过来了，关键是自己会分析，有观点、有态度、就能背少点、背准点。
