        It's bye bye to "The Borgias" at Showtime, as the cable network officially cancels the historical drama after three seasons.在历史剧《波吉亚家族》播出3季后，Showtime电视台宣布砍掉这部美剧，这也是该剧的道别季了。
        Deadline reports that although Showtime was recently considering a standalone TV movie in place of a full fourth season, the network has confirmed that the upcoming Season 3 finale on June 16 will also serve as the series finale. Deadline报道，尽管Showtime之前打算用一部电影来取代该剧的第四季，不过最近电视台还是决定砍掉这部美剧，也就是说6月16日上演的第三季最后一集将会是本剧的大结局。
        Apparently the decision was prompted by both financial and creative concerns, as a TV movie would have been quite pricey and network executives feared the storyline could have been "anti-climactic." 很明显这个决定是基于财政和剧情创作双方面考虑而得出的，拍成电影明显是很费钱的一个项目，而电视台又怕剧情不好会导致观众骤降。
        Although Showtime won't be making it, Jordan plans to shop the "Borgias" movie concept elsewhere.虽然Showtime电视台不会再制作《波吉亚家族》，不过Jordan打算把该剧的剧本卖给某个制作公司成为电影剧本。
