The network officially confirmed that the musical drama would not return for a third season on Friday (May 10), though the announcement was hardly a surprise: The show was shifted to Saturdays to finish out its second season after returning to disappointing ratings and star Debra Messing sought other work, landing a pilot at CBS.NBC电视网周五已经正式确认该台的音乐节目《名声大噪》不会有第三季了，尽管大家之前已经猜到可能是这个结果：在冷清的收视下，这节目已经被调整到周六晚的档期来结束其第二季剩下的内容，而其中的Debra Messing也已经在CBS的一档试播剧里落脚了。
