Gossip Girl decides to send a shocking email blast in the graduation ceremony of Constance Billard and St. Jude's, pushing Serena to device
a devious plan of attack. The Mean Girls Club challenge Jenny to
succeed Blair as Queen Bee for next year. Lily and Rufus struggle with
their relationship after Lily's betrayal. As for the cliffhangers,
Blair and Chuck finally...and Serena is shocked by...and Georgina

Serena: Okay, can you just take my mind off of me? Talk about anything.
Blair: Did he say it like...
Serena: Anything but--
Blair: "I love her"?"  
Serena: I totally set myself up for that one.
take my mind off: 不去想，转移注意力。这里S和B在聊gossip girl, S的意思是拜托你，我们换个话题吧。
I totally set myself up for that one: set up表示“陷害，设圈套”，这句话的意思是“都是我自找的”，有点像中文的“自作孽”。前面S要B换个话题，于是B又那Chuck说“I love you”这件事情来烦S，所以S说自己绕来绕去，还是没的安宁。

Nate: Good, good. I start my internship at the mayor's office next week.
Vanessa: So that's the big news.
Nate: As for today ,I got my mom and my grandpa to agree to sit together, so that's something.
internship: 实习
so that's something: 那还不错，那还挺了不起

Cyrus: We were talking on the way over here about what a wonderful couple you two make. So we decided you should take the plunge like us. Dating at our age is not enough, marry before it's too late.
Rufus: Well, it's not exactly-- uh, we're just enjoying the journey.
Lily: Well, apparently at one point we had a destination, but that no longer seems to be the case.
take the plunge: to marry someone. plunge本意是跳入，冒险做某事，这个词组除了结婚，还可以用来指你经过很长一段时间犹豫后，最终决定做某事。
we're just enjoying the journey: 享受过程
that no longer seems to be the case: 现在已经不是那样了，情况已经不同了

Serena: Chuck, get the room quiet for me.
Chuck: I'm way ahead of you.
way ahead of you: 早就想到，在你说之前我就想过了。这句话用在你们两人想同一件事情或者想说同一句，但是对方比你快一步说出来，你就可以说way ahead of you, 意思是我只是说的比你晚，但其实我也想到了。

Serena: Can I actually borrow you for a minute? I'd like you to help me dig deeper.
Jenny: Nothing in here's good enough to beat the new girl... except for this.
Eric: No way.
borrow you for a minute: 借一步说话
No way: 这里不是“没门”的意思了，这里表示“不是吧，不会吧”，惊讶的意思

Dan: Uh, no. I thought Vanessa and I would hit a movie instead.
hit a movie: 看电影，hit是一个很百搭的单词，有点”do”的意思，比较随意的讲法。洗澡也可以说hit a shower, 出发、上路就是hit the road

Jenny: My gossip's too juicy to wait.
juicy: interesting and exciting，形容八卦很吸引人

Since she had to find out the truth about me, I'm going to tell you the
truth about everyone. Every gossip bomb I've got is about to drop, and
if you've got a problem with that, take it up with her.
leave alone: leave unchanged or undisturbed or refrain from taking，放手，相当于let it go
get a problem with: 很口语化的讲法，表示有意见，有问题
take up: deal with, 和她去交涉，找她算帐

Nate: Oh, my god.
Dan: Oh, that makes sense.
Nate: Wait. They're a team.
Blair: Team of what?
that makes sense: 这就说的通了，这就有道理了。当时Nate, Serena, Dan都在酒吧里等gossip girl, 结果等来的是Blair, Dan说这句话的意思就是Blair是最有可能是gossip girl的人。makes sense在否定句里(it doesn’t make any sense)用的也很多，意思是某句话“毫无道理，一点都说不通”。
Team of what: “什么团队”这句话让我们说的话很容易会翻成”what team”, 但其实应该用team of what, 这个就是很典型的中文和英文思维差异。

Serena: Drink’s on me.
something is on me: 我请客，我做东，比如你请客晚餐，就可以说dinner’s on me.
