There are so many people under the unbearably high pressure in China. Heavy work demands and intense competition pile enormous pressure on the individuals who desperately try to pursue a more well-paid salary and push for a higher position. For students, exam pressure makes them overburdened and overwhelmed. Stress is a personalized phenomenon but confronts everyone at different degrees.
This phenomenon divides people. Some have a depressing and gloomy attitude toward the physical and mental strain. So stress is always blamed for someone's mental disorder, violence and even suicide. In contrast to their negatively reacting to stress, others may face up to the mounting pressure and keep a excellent mood.
How to properly and effectively cope with the huge pressure? First, people under the tremendous pressure can select a proper way to relax, such as pampering themselves with a long hot bath and immersing themselves in the favorite CD. Repetitive tasks and no break will propel people to pay a hefty health price. Second, the over-high expectations leading to the strong strain must be lowered. Third, a chat with close friends is a favorably good way. Talking to them will alleviate enormous pressure.

There is no doubt that traffic congestion becomes a growing worry for the residents of most urban areas. Some major roads are regularly choked with traffic in rush hours. The limited transport capacity contributes largely to the vexing problem. How to solve the headache?
The existing solutions to traffic jam mainly aims at creating metro bus systems and broadening major roads. Widening the existing roads can solve traffic snarls on some level. Soaring car ownership compounds the chronic annoying problem, so we must sharply reduce the heavy reliance on cars and drive a shift to the mass transportation. It is a cheap and good way. We can create a system of customized bus routes and highlight the development of subways, trolleys and light rail. The effective combination of these solutions will enable the urban areas to possess a smooth traffic.

The prospect of uncertainties is putting a heavy strain on a growing number of college graduates. A major decision facing these freshmen of the real world is to choose a suitable life path.
Some are bent on furthering their education abroad or going to graduate school, with the aim of acquiring more knowledge or increasing their chances of finding more gainful employment after they return home or graduate. Others decide to plunge themselves into the tight job market. Still others, who are in the minority, intend to set up their own business because they are more ambitious than their peers.
These are tough choices. Next June, I will say good bye to my college days. Although a couple of options lie ahead of me, I have made up my mind to land a job with one of the big companies in some affluent areas, such as Yangtze Delta, Canton and so on. I was born into an impoverished urban family. My parents are laid-off and have been working feverishly to fund my college education. As a grown-up, I have to shoulder more responsibilities and strive to lighten my parents’ load.
8. 汽车对生活的影响
Along with the economic growth, private cars have penetrated into a wealth of citizens’ lives because of its convenience features. Undoubtedly, the widespread use of cars promotes the social productivity and enhances the economic development. But we are supposed to weigh strengths and weaknesses of the popularity of cars. With the growing prevalence of vehicles, a host of problems have emerged.
In the first place , car emissions are having an immeasurable effect on the world’s climate. Solid scientific evidence can confirm this harm. Second, because the car depends so heavily on fossil fuels, it is a major source of carbon dioxide that causes global warming. Additionally, soaring ownership of cars puts tremendous pressure on the limited capacity of current transport system. There is a heavy urban traffic flow with frequent traffic jam. These harmful side effects of autos burden our society with unacceptable costs to human health, the environment, and our economy.
So we must reverse this rising trend and promote the mass transportation. Our heavy reliance on private cars must be reduced.
10。宿舍和谐问题
When students move into the accommodations offered by college, they are taught to live in harmony. Harmony in their rooms is crucial to their lives in college days. It can further affect their emotions and even studies.
Despite that, many acts conducted by students reflect the disharmony in university residences. For example, most of the boys' rooms are in a mess. The importance of good cleaning habits should be stressed. And sour relations between students living together fundamentally endanger the harmony in college dormitories. Some trivial matters can trigger conflicts. We should view everyone as our friend and respect each other.
From my perspective, we should drive our efforts to boost the harmony in college residences. This goal is far-reaching. Boarders should take a package of measures to fulfill it. A harmonious dormitory environment can play a positive role in college students’ studies and lives.
11。大学生的礼貌问题
Across the Chinese landscape, politeness is a desirable quality we have upheld for thousands of years. To some extent, good manners far outweigh other moral qualities. For any college student, who has an access to higher education, showing regard for others in manners, speech, behavior is so important that others can judge his/her moral character by it.
College students are supposed to express respect in words, by manner, by act. However, some of them fail to achieve it, which is a growing problem in this ancient land. Some students are to blame for their impolite and rude attitude toward others. Many children have the misfortune to be born in a disadvantageous atmosphere of developing polite habits. They should feel the pressing need to remedy these defects and learn to practice the courteous habits.
In my eyes, it is a great mistake to think of courtesy as a kind of veneer or ornament rather than as a serious and practical thing. So we must act and speak politely.
