1. 原始“控”
The term geek finds its origins in the 1500s, when it meant someone who was considered a fool. It is also thought to have come from the word , gecken, used in 18th century Astria Hungary to refer to circus performers whose acts included biting the head of a live chichen.Geek最早出现在15世纪，当时这个词被用来形容一个蠢材。但是也有其他的说法说这个词来源于Gecken，这是一种18实际的匈牙利表演，主要就是在马戏团里的表演者咬掉一只活鸡的头。
2.初级控
It was not until the 1950s that the term geek became associated with those who were passionate or obsessed with technology, or specific sub-culture.一直到了1950左右，Geek这个词才开始用来形容某些对某种科技或者是亚文化极端感兴趣的人。
3.英特网控

These Geeks became prevalent starting in 2004, obsessed with the ever-expending collection of Apple products, inventing social network design and blogging.这一类科技产品控从2004年开始盛行，他们对于那些广泛分布的苹果产品非常着迷，喜欢不断的探索社交网络而且喜欢写博客。
5.音乐控
Music Geeks specialize in bands and genres of music never heard of before, such as Swedish fugal opera.这些音乐控通过不同的乐队和音乐体裁来区分自己与其他人，比如什么瑞典诗词歌赋歌剧。
6.电影控

7.日本漫画控
