            这个样式时髦吗？
        ※扩展语言知识Multiply
        1 in fashion = in the latest fashion，表示“流行的，时髦的”，也可简称为in。
         例：Is this style in?
              这样式时髦吗？
        2 与in相反的当然是out，意指“过时的”。
         例：This style is out.
               这样式过时了。
       
        No.7 reduce / save

        √ I saved money on the newspaper.
           我省了不少订报纸的钱。

        reduce的意思是“减少”，save表示“节省，省下”。
        例：I need to reduce my expense on clothing.
             我得减少买衣服的开支。
        例：I saved 20 bucks buying that dress at a 25% discount.
             那件裙子打75折，让我省了20美元。

        × I would like to have a decent payment, but I’m not too concerned with that.

           我希望有一个好的薪酬，不过我并不太过关注这些。

        1. payment意为“支付；金额”等。
        例：（你在电话里订购了商品，对方会问：）
        What’s your method of payment today?
        请问你要采用哪种付款方式？
        例：I received a large payment from the government after they laid me off.
             我被裁员后，收到了政府一大笔失业保险金。
        而pay才是“薪水，工资”的意思。
        例： I stayed in that stressful job for the good pay.
              我现在工作压力很大，我还是要干下去，因为这里工资高。
        2. 单位的“薪水册”叫作payroll，“薪资部门”叫payroll department。
        例：I’ll put you on my payroll.
             我会付给你薪水。
       
        No.9 washing / laundry

           我的套装需要清洗，你们有洗衣服务吗？

        旅馆里清洗衣物的服务叫laundry service或laundry and cleaning service，包括machine wash（机洗）和dry clean（干洗）。
       
        No.10 delay / postpone

        postpone [poʊˈspoʊn]
        × Because of the bad weather, the game was delayed for a week.
        √ Because of the bad weather, the game was postponed for a week.
           因天气欠佳，比赛延期一周。
       
        ※扩展语言知识Multiply
        1. delay指“比预先约定的时间晚到”。至于“延期”，我们得用postpone。
        例：The arrival of the flight was delayed.
              飞机晚点了。
        2. 值得注意的是，在美语中，一般用game来取代match。
        例：I love watching baseball games. (美国、加拿大使用)
             我喜欢看棒球比赛。
        例：I enjoy watching football matches. (英国使用)
             我喜欢看足球比赛。
