        A: My boyfriend’s sense of color is utterly laughable. Yesterday he showed up wearing one brown sock and one blue. Worse, he thought they were both black.
        B: My dad does that. What’s worse is he likes to wear those jokey shorts with something printed on the back, like lips or footprints.
        A: Your dad’s a million laughs.
        B: Oh yeah, but I don’t usually die laughing, I die of embarrassment.
        A: 我男朋友对颜色的感觉真是可笑之极。昨天他一只脚穿这褐色的袜子，一只脚穿着蓝色的袜子来了。更糟糕的是，他还以为两只都是黑色的。
        B: 我爸爸也是。更糟糕的是，他喜欢穿背面印有嘴唇或是脚印的那种滑稽短裤。
        A: 你老爸真是搞笑。
        B: 是啊，不过我不觉得好笑，我觉得尴尬死了。
        【语言点精讲】
        utterly: 完全地，彻底地。
        laughable: 经常被用来描述某人对某某事物的看法是可笑以至于荒唐的，微带贬义。
        show up: 出现，到场。
        jokey: 这是一个较常用的俚语表达，指滑稽的、好开玩笑的。
        a million laughs: 用来形容某人或某事非常的有趣。是个褒义短语，但多少有些过时。
        die laughing: 形容某人或某事很搞笑，可以使人笑死。
