                Imagine how you'd feel if all the photos from your life were washed away and lost. For many thousands of Japanese people affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, that's exactly what happened. But in the town of Yamamoto, at least, they weren't lost forever. The emergency services have collected 750,000 photos from amongst the wreckage and computer researcher Yuji Mizoguchi has volunteered to lead a project to digitise them and then reunite them with the families who lost them.想象一下，如果你生命中的所有照片都被冲走丢失，你会有什么样的感觉呢。对于很多经历了2011年那场地震和海啸的日本人来说，这件事就实实在在的发生在他们身上。但是在山元町，它们（指照片）至少不会永远消失。紧急救援部门从废墟中收集了75万张照片，并且电脑研究人员沟口优司已经志愿领导一项工程来数字化处理那些照片，然后和丢失照片的家庭一起重新合并修复它们。
