First though "Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom" the biopic given extraordinary sharp focus by the death last month of the former South African president. Not long after Mandela's autobiography was published in 1995, producer Anant Singh acquired the film rights. The project took more than a decade and a half to come together as a joint British-South African production, shot in more than 200 locations in the Republic made with a cooperation of the family.首先，尽管《曼德拉：漫漫自由路》这部影片特别关注的是南非前总统上个月去世的事情，但是就在曼德拉在1995年出版了自传之后不久，制片人Anant Singh就买下了电影版权。该项目耗时10年半多，是由英国与南非联合制片，在曼德拉家人的帮助下，在南非共和国的200多个地方采过景。
