                This nomination is for her role as a venomous matriarch in "August: Osage County" which enters in cinemas this weekend. It's the film adaptation of Tracy Letts' Pulitzer Prize–winning play about a family gathering after the father's death. Three generations, each with their own problems, have to contend with the widow, whose way of coping with grief and loss is pugnacious to say the least.
