1. Read only the first sentence of a paragraph 只读每段第一句话
Good writers begin each paragraph with a key statement that tells you what
that paragraph is about. By reading only the first sentence, you can determine
if the paragraph has information you need to know.
高水平的作者会在段首用中心句说明段落大意。只要阅读第一句话你就能判断这段话是否有你需要了解的信息。
2. Skip to the last sentence of the paragraph 直接跳到段落尾句
The last sentence in a paragraph should also contain clues for you about
the importance of the material covered. The last sentence often serves two
functions -- it wraps up the thought expressed and provides a connection to the
next paragraph.
段落尾句也会提示你这段材料涵盖的重要信息。它通常有两种功能：承上和启下。
3. Read phrases 以短语为单位阅读
Move your eyes quickly over each line and look for phrases and key words.
Your mind will automatically fill in the words between.
快速浏览每一行，找出短语和关键词即可，你的大脑会自动帮你补充剩下的部分。
4. Ignore the little words 忽略小词
Ignore the little words like it, to, a, an, and, be -- you know the ones.
You don't need them. Your brain will see these little words without
acknowledgment.
忽略诸如it, to, a, an, and, be这种代词、介词、冠词等，你太熟悉它们了，完全不需要它们，你的大脑会帮你识别。
5. Look for key points 寻找要点
Look for key points while you're reading for phrases. You are probably
already aware of the key words in the subject you're studying. They pop out at
you. Spend a little more time with the material around those key points.
以短语为单位阅读时要关注要点。很可能你已经意识到了所读文章的关键词，它们会在阅读过程中跳到你眼前。多花点时间在要点附近的词句上。
6. Mark key thoughts in the margins 在页边写出中心思想
If the book is yours, mark key thoughts in the margins or slap one little
sticky tab on the page with a short note. When it's time to review, simply read
through your tabs.

7. Read with good posture 保持良好的阅读姿势

your body a break. Sit in a healthy way and you will be able to study
longer.

8. Practice, practice, practice 练习练习再练习
