        A: He is an upfront, straight down the line guy. We all like him.
        B: I know he is usually on the level. What did he do?
        A: The boss was bawling out Miss Jones for some figure-juggling errors that cost the company a bunch. He showed he plays with a clean deck and admitted it was his mistake. The boss was so pleased and he gave him a raise.
        B: He is a real aboveboard guy!
        A: 他是个正直、坦诚的小伙子，大家都喜欢他。
        B: 我也知道他一向都很诚实。他怎么了？
        A: 老板正冲Jones小姐发火，怪她篡改了账目，让公司亏了一大笔。这时他老老实实地站出来，承认是他的错。老板很欣赏，还给他涨了工资。
        B: 他真是个光明磊落的人！

        upfront: 坦率的。
        straight down the line: 绝对诚实的。
        on the level: 诚实的；可靠的；坦率地。
        bawl out: 乱哄哄地争吵；大声嚷出。
        juggle: 篡改，玩花招。
        play with a clean deck: 在玩牌的时候，如果是“clean”的，那意味着它是诚实没有猫腻的。这个短语在口语中用来形容人是正直诚实的或者交易是公平的。
