        B: Really! He is convinced that the hard sell is old hat. Says you have to mind your manners these days, hold your tongue with clients, and be gently persistent.
        A: Yes, and everybody better stay in line.
        A: 新经理是属于那种老式的强硬派。
        B: 真的是！他坚信那种硬性的推销方式已经过时了。他说你现在必须注意自己的一言一行，面对客户不要乱说，还要有礼貌，有耐心。
        A: 是啊，而且每个人最好都规规矩矩的。
        【语言点精讲】
        mind one’s manner: 与be on one’s best behavior同义。多用于父母对孩子。
        hold one’s tongue: 保持沉默。不要说不应该说的话。
        stay in line: 排成一队。指举止得体，没有出格的行动。
