        A: So how was your date last night?
        B: Oh, really not worth the time. Joe is such a loser! He works at McDonald’s behind the counter!
        A: Well, that’s what you get when you date every Tom, Dick and Harry who asks you.
        B: Yeah, I guess it makes me just as much a loser.
        A: 你昨晚的约会怎么样？
        B: 真是浪费时间。Joe这个窝囊废，他在麦当劳卖东西。
        A: 这就是随便什么人约你你就去的结果。
        B: 看来我也显得够窝囊的。
        【语言点精讲】
        loser: 窝囊废，干什么都不能成功的人。这是个贬义极重的词。
        behind the counter: 站在柜台后买东西。
        Tom, Dick and Harry: 这个短语用来指任何人，相当于anybody。
