        英音[ɜː] VS 美音[ɝː]
       
        两位女生正在讨论作业的事：
        UK: I can't learn this German homework, it's too hard!
        US: It doesn't help that Mr Schmaus is so stern in class.
        UK: Yeah! Remember when he pulled me up for talking to that boy in class?!
        US: Ooo burn!!
        UK: Yea, well I bet it'll be your turn next week!
        笔记：对于 əʳ 和 ɜ:ʳ 音，英英中并不将其中的 ʳ 发出来，除非后面接的是个元音（如：answering, answer it）；而美英中通常将 ʳ 发出来，另外有时将它们写做 ɝ 和 ɝː 的形式。

        NB: in əʳ and ɜ:ʳ, the ʳ is not pronounced in BrE, unless the sound comes before a vowel (as in answering, answer it). In AmE, the ʳ is always pronounced, and the sounds are sometimes written as ɝ and ɝː.
