I think we can draw up a tentative plan now.
我认为现在可以先草拟一具临时方案。
1.Draw up(= Draft ; Sketch out.) ： 草拟.
例如：The lawyer draw up a legal paper discharging him from all obligation.（律师拟定了一份法律文件,免除他所有的债务款项.）
2.Tentative plan：试验性计划; 构想计划.
例如：I have this tentative plan going round my head. （这个设想一直萦绕在我脑中. ）

Content is better than riches. 知足者常乐。
1.Content n. ：内容 / 满足. (指一种心理感受, 强调安于现状或知足常乐.)
例如：She began to live in peace and content. （她开始平静而满意地生活了. ）
2.Better than：比...多(超过).
例如：In fact, I think an old car is better than none. （事实上, 我认为有一辆旧车总比没车强. ）
3.Riches n.：财富 / 财产. (= Wealth.) 通常用复数形式.
例如：He fell heir to his uncle's riches. （他成为他叔父大笔财富的继承人. ）

Don't count one's chickens before they are hatched. 不要过早乐观。
1.Count v.：计数,计算. (=Calculate) / 认为,看作.(=Regard as, Consider.)
例如：It is impossible to count the stars in the sky.（天空中的星星数不清. ）
2.Hatch：孵化 / 秘密策划。
例如：They hatched a plot to murder the king.（他们谋划杀害国王.）

Courtesy on one side only lasts not long. 来而不往非礼也。
1.Courtesy：礼仪; 谦恭有礼; 有礼貌的举止 (言词). [复数: Courtesies.]
例如：I was treated with the utmost courtesy by the staff. （我受到了工作人员极有礼貌的接待. ）

By courtesy of 蒙…的好意, 蒙…提供.
Courtesy call 礼节性拜访.
Have the courtesy to do something 知道何时该做…（以示礼貌）.
2.Last：持续；继续；延续. (= Endure, Hold out, Hold up.)
例如：The meeting only lasted (for) a few minutes.（会议只开了几分钟.）

1.Place：放置,安排 / 发订单 / 以某种态度对待（或看待）
例如：They place a high value on punctuality. （他们对守时极为重视. ）
2.Significance：重大意义,重要性. (= Importance; Value.)

Attach significance to 赋予…以意义.
Great〔little〕 significance 重大〔无关紧要〕的事.
Significance of 意味深长的.
3.Savor：滋味;气味. / 风味. / 风趣; 趣味.
例如：His humorous remarks added a savor to our conversation. （他幽默的话语给谈话增添了风趣. ）

1.Morning sun：旭日/朝阳.
例如：Everything looked radiant in the morning sun.（在朝阳之下, 万物焕然一新. ）
2.Came out：(太阳、月亮或星星）出现，露出. (= Appear or Become visible; Make a showing.)
例如：The rain stopped and the sun came out.（雨停后太阳出来了. ）

A few steps across the lawn brought me to a large, splendid hotel.
走过草地几步，我们就到了一个华丽的大酒店。
1.a few steps：几步。
例如：It's only a few steps further.（只有几步远了. ）
2.Splendid：华丽的.( = Glorious ; Magnificent.)
例如：The water has worn the rock as smooth as glass.（水已经把岩石冲刷得犹如玻璃一样光滑。）
【相关词组】
Splendid first strike 漂亮的第一次攻击(将敌方武力摧毁的)
Simply splendid 极华丽. (Splendid 含有 "极" 的意思,故不用 Very 修饰.)
