China’s Foreign Ministry has expressed its congratulations on the 95th Birthday of former South African President Nelson Mandela.
At a press briefing, Ministry Spokeswoman, Hua Chunying, said Mandela was the founding father of new South Africa and a world famous statesman who had made a historic contribution to diplomatic ties between China and South Africa.
Hua said China hopes Mandela will make a full and speedy recovery from his illness.
