《夜巡》是17世纪荷兰画家伦勃朗的名画。现藏于荷兰阿姆斯特丹美术馆。此画所描绘的其实是白天队长与副队长的景象，因光线昏暗而被误为是描绘夜间，画中人物确有其人，有些人认为此画暗藏某些故事另有深意。

We only have one colour and that's one of the most difficult things of all, because we are interpreting the painting on our earthenware. So we continuously have the problem how do we reproduce the colours he used? And if you work in Blue you have to produce a very accurate contrast. But we solved the problem by taking black and white photographs of the painting, which helped to give us the correct shading.
It was a really special feeling to be allowed to copy such an important masterpiece. The fact that we were both given such an opportunity is of course unique. It is fantastic. You really feel it's an honour to be asked to copy such a painting.
The Night Watch is certainly Rembrandt's most monumental painting. Yet it's a monument to a small local event that wasn't of any great consequence, or even fundamentally very serious.
