《夜巡》是17世纪荷兰画家伦勃朗的名画。现藏于荷兰阿姆斯特丹美术馆。此画所描绘的其实是白天队长与副队长的景象，因光线昏暗而被误为是描绘夜间，画中人物确有其人，有些人认为此画暗藏某些故事另有深意。

So I come up to the guy, turned him around. Of course I didn't know if he had something else in his hand and he started to shout I'm an addict. Please don't hit me. Please don't hit me and he fainted. And then I started with spraying some distilled water we had in the cans behind the painting on The Night Watch.
It must have looked very strange when you spray water over the painting. The Night Watch was really covered in water and it was in its frame but it was the only way to get the acid away as soon as possible. Mercifully, the acid penetrated only the varnish layer. The painting was restored again.
But while The Night Watch survived these violent incidents, which may be forms of perverted homage, it does seem to inspire in certain viewers a desire to disassemble the tableau and some of those viewers are artists. The American collagist Barry Kite cuts up The Night Watch to create fantasy and rather un-Dutch assemblages.我做过来把他转过来，我并不知道他手上有拿东西。
