President Obama is looking to republican Senators, John McCain and Lindsey Graham for help in his push for military action in Syria. The Senators who have both been vocal supporters of military strikes met with the president Monday.

Dozens of people were injured after tornadoes tore through eastern Japan. The twisters toppled power lines, sent debris flying and levelled some buildings.
And for Diana Nyad, the 5th attempt was success. The 64-year-old swam 103 miles from Havana, Cuba to Key West without the aid of the shark cage. A goal she first attempted 35 years ago.
